BFCLogo

Bracknell Forest Council is currently seeking the views of residents regarding information and advice about care and support to help inform a new information and advice strategy.

Link to survey: www.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/iasurvey

It’s important that the views of people who need information or advice in their work also help to shape the strategy, so please also encourage as many of your staff and volunteers to complete the survey as possible, and please share this with your networks of local groups and services too.

The consultation is open until Sunday 11 December.

Self-Care Week 2016 - Volunteers needed!

Self-Care Week begins 14 November and we’re looking for volunteers to help us to talk with the public at Time Square, Princess Square, GP surgeries and locations across Bracknell Forest.

Self-Care Week is an annual national awareness week that promotes healthy lifestyles and provides useful tips on how to avoid unnecessary trips to the GP or A&E.

We need people to help at Princess Square, Bracknell from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 12.30pm to 2.30pm between Monday 14 November and Friday 18 November.

If you would like to volunteer, please give us a call on 01344 352765 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Advocacy

Advocacy

Advocacy is a way to help people to say what they want, secure their rights, represent their interests and obtain services they need. Advocates and advocacy schemes work in partnership with people they support and take their side. Advocacy promotes social inclusion, equality and social justice.

Visit Bracknell Forest Council website for more information and contact details for independent advocates.
